How to contribute

Although the Centre has received a number of generous grants towards the cost of renovating and running the Centre, and there is also some income from visitors and hiring rooms in the Centre, there is still a need for extra funds to allow the Centre to continue and to expand its work. If you would like to donate to the work of the Centre, you can do so on-line using the buttons below, or by post to the Treasurer at the address on the left.

In addition, people can also contribute to the Centre by donating their time as volunteers.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at the address on the left.

The Owain Glyndŵr Centre is a registered charity, no. 1076059.

The Centre is owned and managed by a limited company, Canolfan Owain Glyndŵr Cyf., company registration number 03660300.

What is Gift Aid?

The Gift Aid scheme is for gifts of money by individuals who pay UK tax. Gift Aid donations are regarded as having basic rate tax deducted by the donor. Charities take your donation - which is money you've already paid tax on - and reclaim the basic rate tax from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) on its 'gross' equivalent - the amount before basic rate tax was deducted.

Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to the charity.

Full details of the conditions of Gift Aid are on the HM Revenue and Customs website.
